Brodhead Fire Department is always looking for the help of highly motivated driven individuals who are willing to help serve their community. While BVFD is an unpaid and completely volunteer organization it in return will provide individuals opportunity for experiences unlike anywhere else. During service as a Brodhead Fire Fighter individuals will be involved in a multitude of operations including Firefighting, Vehicle Extrication, and Technical Rope Rescue just to name a few as the list goes on and on. Its not all work though, when joining Brodhead Fire Department you get more then just a set of gear you get a set of comrades. Members of the Brodhead Fire Department work hard and they watch each others back to ensure everyone comes home safe, but when the work is done members of BVFD participate in activities such as video games, watching sporting events, or even the occasional winter sledding trip.
